Train to Teach with the Learning Futures Partnership

Are you looking for a change in career? Are you a recent graduate considering your next steps? Whatever your inspiration, if you are interested in becoming a teacher, then the Learning Futures Partnership is for you.

Who are we?

The Learning Futures Partnership is a teaching alliance, working with the following educational establishments: Hawkley Hall High School, Fred Longworth High School, Byrchall High School, Tyldesley Primary School and Winstanley College. All of our partners share our passion for high-quality teacher training, and are committed to your development and success. We have a team of experts ready and waiting to advise you about your personal statement, possible bursaries and additional financial support.

What do we do?

We recruit professionals seeking a career in teaching, offering support as you undertake your Initial Teacher Training with one of our establishments. From the minute you apply, and throughout the course, you will receive personal support and advice. Upon completion of our School Direct course, you will be awarded a PGCE with Masters credits, provided by the University of Cumbria.

Where will I train?

All of our trainees will be placed in a familiar setting, local to them. You may even train at a school or college you attended! Your existing knowledge of the area will enhance your confidence and provide a sense of belonging that will give you a boost in your trainee year. We are happy to arrange school experience in all partner schools, and will endeavor to work around your commitments. (Please note these are all based in the Greater Manchester, Merseyside and Cheshire areas).
